The Treasure box
This is the 4th performance task we have done here is the scenario;Mr. Penny’s class will be constructing wooden treasure boxes. Each student will construct a box that consists of 4 rectangular pieces for the sides that are 814 inches long and 634 inches wide, and 2 rectangular pieces for the top and bottom bases that are 814 inches long and 814 inches wide. Prior to class, Mr. Penny plans to cut a wooden plank into the required pieces of wood so the students have the necessary materials at the start of class. |

Maker Rules!
As a group 5 of the students have formed a project to be done in a weeks time, a project so amazing could only be could MAKER RULES. In this week we act like the teachers for an hour a day with hands-on experiments, mini projects, Homework, and a final quiz. With only a budget of $20 they must make or buy enough items to supply 5 groups with their selected project. |
